The NGO-DARPAN started out as an initiative of the Prime Minister's Office, to create and promote a healthy partnership between VO / NGOs and the Government of India. NGO-DARPAN is managed at present by NITI Aayog.

The Unique ID is mandatory to apply for grants under various schemes of Ministries/Departments/Governments Bodies. Any VO / NGO which is registered as a trust/ society/ a private limited non-profit company, under section-8 Company of the Companies Act, 2013 can go for NGO Darpan. Read more
